🫸 Looking back on 30 years of leadership I've received and given, I’ve realised something:

 No one remembers the boss with the fanciest title

 They remember the leader who made them feel safe

🫷 The best leader I ever worked for put it simply:

 ➡️ “If we fail, that’s on me. If we succeed, that’s on them.”

He fought for us in rooms we weren’t in

He recommended us for promotions

He shielded us from the noise - politics, micromanagement, false urgency

💫 And the result?

 The team gave everything

 Performance skyrocketed

 Trust became unshakable
